Good-Bye Steve Jay Prager

Our dear friend and teacher, Steve Prager died at his home on Saturday May 3, 2008.
He was 57 years old with the heart of a playful, wondrous child.

He lived in Chicago, IL where he had his first metaphysical shop called Isis Rising. He subsequently moved to Mount Shasta, CA and then to Durango, CO to open Aquarius Adventures, a metaphysical shop, in 1993.
He also managed Mountain Magic, another metaphysical shop, at Trimble Lane in Durango, CO.
Currently he was the Mail Room Guru for the Marketing Department in Durango, CO, and he continued his metaphysical counseling practice.

He met his life partner, his “sweetie” Judy Siekerk, the cat lady,
in 1994 and they have been life partners since 1995.

He is survived by his mother, Sylvia Prager, of Durango, CO, his life partner, Judy Siekerk, his nephew Michael of Madison, WI and numerous aunts, cousins, friends and clients across the country.

Steve, affectionately called Goofy, will be missed for his lightness and joy,
and the touch of wisdom he left with those he encountered.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held this summer.
